Sidi Bou Chair
This unique piece draws its inspiration from Wassily Kandinsky's artwork, "Loses Im Rot" (1925). It features a structure with three legs: two at the front and one at the back. The legs and backrest are made of aluminum, providing a sleek and modern aesthetic while ensuring durability. The seat is made of Nero Marquina marble from Italy.
The Sidi Bou Chair is also a celebration of Dakhli’s Tunisian heritage. Kandinsky's visit to Tunisia profoundly influenced his journey into abstraction, making this design a way of reclaiming Tunisia's impact on one of the most influential artists of all time. The fusion of materials and artistic inspiration pays homage to both Kandinsky's legacy and the rich cultural heritage of Tunisia.
